Carterton Holiday Park offers a park-like setting with individual private sites. It is close to the shops, parks, local swimming pools and the entrances to the Tararua Ranges.

The park offers 32 powered sites and numerous non-powered sites. It also boasts 6 fully furnished, heated and carpeted self-contained units that sleep up to 6 people (all linen and bedding is provided in these self-contained units). There are also 4 basic cabins that can sleep up to 7 people (OWN LINEN AND BEDDING ARE REQUIRED for these cabins or you can hire off us). The park has well equipped communal facilities. We DO NOT PERMIT PETS in any of our units/cabins.

Carterton Holiday Park is central to all Wairarapa attractions (close to Wellington) on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. It is the ideal spot for campervans, tents and holiday-makers seeking a peaceful camp site with comfortable and tidy Tourist Flats and Cabin accommodation. You'll be hard pressed to find a quieter, prettier and more modern motor camp.

The powered sites are landscaped and secluded. Cabin accommodation is available. 6 x self-contained units sleep up to 6 people. 4 x standard cabins sleep 1-7 people. This 4-star holiday park is within walking distance to shops, parks and swimming pools; what more could you ask for? 😃

We are dog friendly, but dogs must be on a lead at ALL TIMES within the holiday park! No pets are allowed in any units, cabins or communal areas.
